August 27, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn.

Old Stone House & Washington Park partners with the Society of the Cincinnati of Maryland, the Sons of the American Revolution Battle of Brooklyn Chapter, and the Michael A. Rawley American Legion Post to commemorate the Battle of Brooklyn.

This event includes reenactor regiments from the Battle of Brooklyn, battle strategies and daily life during the Revolutionary War, historical costumers, live music, and a scavenger hunt along the Gowanus Road to The Green-Wood Cemetery (today’s 5th Avenue).
