Professional Development

HHT strengthens the expertise of our museum partners through a diverse professional development program. Offerings have included accessibility training, collections and archival care workshops, board development conversations, fundraising support, and de-escalation training, as well as quarterly field trips and directors’ roundtables for peer learning and networking. These programs equip staff and leadership with the skills to preserve collections, engage communities, and strengthen their organizations.

HHT provides year-round support that adapts to the evolving needs of each site, helping partner museums accomplish their missions. We strengthen operations, build capacity, and address the unique needs of each site while benefiting the network as a whole.
